The turtle, a majestic ocean creature - one of the most exposed to pollution because it often mistakes plastic bags for jellyfish - is featured on our Seaqual swimsuits made from recycled ocean plastic. Its stylish silhouette comes in small and large sizes, for young and old, on these elegant swimsuits offered in two colors, ocean blue and sea blue.
Each Rivea swimsuit recycles 10 plastic bottles collected from the Mediterranean Sea and beaches.

Swimwear Care
If your swim shorts need washing, we recommend a machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C, with items of a similar colour, using a gentle detergent.

The Oeko-Tex® certified fabric was specially developed for Rivea using plastic bottles recovered from beaches or fished out of the Mediterranean. This high-end fabric is soft to touch, dries quickly and is highly resistant to wear and tear. Their swim shorts are manufactured in small production units in northern Portugal.
The fabric is printed by sublimation, using water-based, solvent-free inks and a heat press. Not only is this one of the eco-friendliest printing processes, but it also produces some of the most sustainable results, as the colours are highly resistant to the effects of salt, sea and chlorine.
Their swimwear comes in a waterproof pouch made of TPU, a new, sustainable, biodegradable material.
