Faber Brown: ankle boot chelsea style with ridged sole made with vegan suede
The indented non slippery sole with welt stitching and solid colour suede like surface makes for a modern and loose style.
It has an elastic side panel and a back strap to help put them on.
They are hypoallergenic, made with toxin free materials and have an On Steam BioEco microfiber lining.
This is the first microfiber made of recycled polyester and cornstarch provenient from corn fermentation.
This is a substitute for nylon and polymers provenient from the petrochemical industry.
Besides being breathable, keeping the interior of the shoe dry and being antibacterial (which contributes to the prevention of bad odours) the moisture wicking insole is made of EVA foam.
All in all, this makes for very comfortable and flexible ankle boots and helps prevent blisters.

NAE is a Portuguese vegan footwear brand launched by Paula and Alex Pérez with a vision of creating ethical and eco-friendly footwear and the principle “No Animal Exploitation”. The brand’s designs are taken from contemporary fashion trends, ranging from the classic court shoe to the heavy-duty combat boot.
NAE’s factory is located around 40 kilometers outside of Porto - Portugal. This manufacture was one of the firsts to recycle used car parts into new materials for shoe manufacturing. To keep transport emissions low, all materials are sourced from the European market, with the exception of Piñatex, which is imported from the Philippines.

Unlike conventional vegan shoes made of virgin plastic, NAE’s shoe collection is not only 100% vegan but also made from eco-friendly vegan leather alternatives. NAE’s best-selling range is made from Piñatex – an incredibly durable fabric made of pineapple leaf fibres. The leaves are taken from pineapple harvests, with any unused fibres then redistributed to the fields as fertiliser. It’s a completely earth-friendly process, adding a new income stream to the farmers' businesses.
NAE also uses organic cotton which, unlike regular cotton, is grown without the use of chemicals and is irrigated using 80% rainwater. NAE also uses cork – an incredibly durable and eco-friendly material. It’s waterproof, hypoallergenic, and soft. To create their vegan leather, NAE uses a special blend of microfibers, including cotton, polyester and nylon, all of which are recycled when possible to create a strong yet lightweight material.
