Our Erik knit is a little like your first crush: loose and twisted. A tribute to our adolescent selves and decade-old promises for future adventures, our Twisted Erik was designed to be thrown on when spontaneity occurs. Made from wool and alpaca with a hand-knitted plaited design, each Twisted Erik is ever so slightly unique. Erik, if you're out there reading this: we're finally over you.
Materials:
Cruelty-free 65% Wool and 35% Alpaca.
Store folded (your mom will be proud) and dry clean only.
We don't believe in deadstock. This knot is knitted in small batches by our kick-ass knitters. We use limited edition thread from Peru, which has Peru Fair Trade Certification, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. The best part? You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.

There are millions of garment workers around the world. Roughly 85% of them are women. Many of them face inhumane working conditions and earn below a living wage. However, the three founders wanted to create something that made you feel good wearing it. Each purchase empowers craftswomen, mostly stay-at-home moms in rural areas of Lithuania. The majority of them live in villages where jobs are extremely scarce.

The Knotty Ones only sources the softest 100% natural fibres inspired by local Northern traditions such as Alpaca wool, Merino wool and 100% Oeko-Tex certified extra stretch cotton, ensuring that it is soft and non-toxic for your skin while wearing.
Depending on how complex your garment is, it takes at least two to four full days for an artisan to make just one knit. In that sense, each product has its own individual story.
